Buzzcocks Austin Concert reviews
Good but a little disappointing.
Despite Spearhead not joining this show (not explained to the crowd until the end of the concert), Buzzcocks were in fine form, probably because of Adam's pain and injury, but Augustana played too large a part of the show. Several were performed w/o most of the CCs joining them on stage and more than half the songs performed were theirs. There were many great cover numbers performed by the whole ensemble, but I was disappointed in the small number of CC songs (well less than half). Many similar comments were heard after the show, with lots of people saying they feel they saw an Augustana concert with just a little Counting Crows. Perhaps they should have just rescheduled until everyone was healthy and in top form. I had to wait a while to finally see CC live and was disappointed to see so little of them.
